How I was more creative during this time of reflection
In my case the lockdown back in spring was a pleasant experience and I certainly count my blessings. Having a house with a studio space in the garden and a peaceful atmosphere all around was truly inspiring. My heart does go out to those who have to manage in small accommodations. Now with winter on the doorstep this second lockdown feels quite different. However, I find during spring and autumn creativity flows better for me. Even though its been raining a lot, we do get wonderful moments of beautiful golden autumn light and I hope to manage a few more opportunities to paint outdoors.
Last week I did have another opportunity to catch another golden moment in Crystal Palace Park.
